About this event
On Friday, March 1 we will visit the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and view the exhibit, The Future of Orchids: Conservation and Collaboration.
The exhibit is in the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard and features 200 varieties of orchids!
The exhibition, organized by Smithsonian Gardens in collaboration with the United States Botanic Garden, includes living collections from both organizations as well as a series of newly commissioned and loaned paintings and sculptures by contemporary multimedia artist Phaan Howng.
As always, we will meet at the Takoma Park Metro at 1:00pm on the platform near the elevator.
We will take the first train after 1:00. Please bring a SmarTrip MetroCard.
