First Friday Museum Visit

On Friday August 2, we will visit the Renwick Gallery, Pennsylvania Ave and 17th St. NW, Washington, DC. It is a three block walk from the Farragut North Metro Station.
We will see the exhibit Subversive, Skilled, Sublime: Fiber Art by Women

https://americanart.si.edu/exhibitions/fiber-art-by-women

Cotton, wool, polyester, silk — fiber is felt in nearly every aspect of our lives. The artists in Subversive, Skilled, Sublime: Fiber Art by Women mastered and subverted the everyday material throughout the twentieth century.
As always, we will meet at the Takoma Park Metro at 1:00pm on the platform near the elevator and take the first train after 1:00. Please bring a SmarTrip MetroCard.

Registration is recommended.
