First Friday Museum Visit

About this event

On Friday, September 1st we will visit the Hirshhorn Museum's exhibit Put it This Way: (Re):Visions of the Hirshhorn Collection

This exhibition unites almost a century of work by 49 women and nonbinary artists in a range of media drawn exclusively from the Hirshhorn’s permanent collection. It speaks to traditionally marginalized artists’ decisive and virtuosic achievements, and investigates a wide array of aesthetic, political and historical concerns.

As always, we will meet at the Takoma Park Metro at 1:00pm on the platform near the elevator.  We will take the first train after 1:00. We'll have a two block walk from the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station.

This event open to all and free, except for the cost of transportation.  Please bring a SmarTrip card for Metro.
