Medicare Update: Preparing for Open Enrollment

WHAT:  Medicare plans change every year. How do you know whether the plan in which you are enrolled is giving you the best value? Each year, from October 15—December 7, you can join, switch, or drop a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug or Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan. Learn about open enrollment, how to compare plans, and what you need to be aware of.

PLEASE NOTE: This session is designed for those already enrolled in a Medicare program who want to prepare for open enrollment. It is not designed as an introduction or overview of Medicare for those preparing to enroll.

PRESENTER: Our presenter will be Rafael Espinoza, Director of the Montgomery County SHIP since 2017.
SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) is a federally funded program that provides free, unbiased Medicare counseling and information by certified counselors to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
