Armchair Travels: Vietnam

Laurie Welch, longtime Village of Takoma Park member and former Co-President of the Board, will share her adventures to Vietnam.

Laurie traveled to Vietnam in early 2019, learning about the legacy of the Vietnam war as well as seeing UNESCO World Heritage Sites, visiting Hanoi, Hue, the DMV area of the Vietnam war, Hoi An and Hailong Bay.  Using photos, she will describe her journey, looking at the beauty of the country and some of the legacy of the war.
