Discussion of the Documentary "9to5: The Story of a Movement"

March is Women's History Month.  To celebrate one aspect of women's history, we will discuss the film 9to5: The Story of a Movement with one of the founders of this movement, former Takoma Park resident Ellen Cassedy.   9to5 documents a movement of female office workers seeking better pay, greater opportunity, and an end to sexual harassment.  This movement became the inspiration of the comedy with a statement, Nine to Five, featuring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton.

You can watch the documentary online for free, through March 3 at:   https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/videos/9to5-the-story-of-a-movement/.  The film is about 90 minutes long.
