The young people of the Sligo Seventh Day Adventist Church are devoting the afternoon of Saturday, October 28 to community service, in partnership with the Village of Takoma Park.
They want to help older members of the Village with small repairs or other projects around the house (e.g., replace lightbulbs, repair hand rails, light clean up and yard work). They will be working with, and under the supervision of, the Village of Takoma Park’s home repair team.
If you are a member of the Village of Takoma Park and have a project or need for repair, contact the Village of Takoma Park at 301-646-2109 no later than October 14.
All projects will be reviewed, approved, supervised by a member of the Village of Takoma Park’s home repair team.
